He is survived by: his wife Gwen Ealand Herron; his children, Tommy Herron of LaPorte, David Ealand (Regina) of Jasper, Texas and Tammy Burton (Tim) of Winnie, Texas; and his sisters, Nancy Giles, Shyanne Melton and Shirley Brantley. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
