He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Simons and Viola Simons; and his siblings, Josh Simons, James Bussey, Grant Bussey, Lee Bussey and Betty McCrory.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Simons (Lydia) of Jasper, Jacob Simons (Amanda) of Buna and Gayle Simons (Jorge Gomez) of San Antonio; his brother Kenneth Simons (Francis) of Roganville; and his grandchildren, Bradley Simons, Jackson Simons, Mia Gomez, Gabrielle Simons and Elijah Gomez.
