He is survived by: his wife Maria "Tita" Vargas of Jasper, TX; his children, Ruben Vargas (Mayra) of Jasper, TX, Roger Vargas (Paloma Martinez) of Jasper, TX, Eva Navarro (Jesus) of Santa Rosa, Juana Gonzalez (Carlos) of Jasper, TX and Sofia Gonzalez (Miguel) of Jasper, TX; his siblings, Antonio Vargas (Venancia) of Mexico, Rosendo Vargas of Fresco, CA, Jose Luis Vargas of California, Antonia Bautista (Pedro) of Mexico and Yolanda Vargas of Mexico; and his grandchildren, Graciela and Marc.
