He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Tonn and Alda Tonn (Rydstrand); his brother Charles; his siblings-in-law, Lynette Tonn, Harlen Buchhorn, Carolyn and Ray Schubert; and his niece Rebecca Schubert-Brabandt.
He is survived by: his wife Fayrene; his grandchildren, Laura and Blake Spears; his great grandchild Carly; and his grandchildren, Ahern Arnett and Samuel Taggart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
