She was predeceased by: her husband Sotero "Joe" Hernandez; her parents, Santos Moreno and Elena Moreno; and her siblings, Jose Moreno and Dominga Sifuentes.
She is survived by: her son Ernest Hernandez (Becky); her grandchildren, Erica Smith (Julio), Nate Hernandez (Natalia) and Shawn Hernandez; her great grandchild Cruz Smith; and her sisters, Sally Guzman, Teresa Carreon and Angelita Faris.
