With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verda Marie Burnett of James, Texas, who passed away on February 28, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Burnett. She is survived by: her children, LaRue Williams (Thomas), Rex Burnett (Carol), Phyllis Burnett, Mark Burnett (Bj) and Connie Burnett. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In place of flowers, donations can be made to the church.
