He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Scott and Iva Marie Scott; his wife Shirley Kennedy Scott; and his siblings, Ira Scott, Albert Scott, Walter Scott, Elizabeth Scott Wilburn and Dorothy Scott Duncan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ray Scott of Texarkana, Tommy Scott of Dallas and Ruth Scott Middleton of Cleburne, Texas.; his children, Dan Scott (Pam), Randy Scott (Linda), Mark Scott and Patti Scott Finley (Jimmy) of Texarkana; his grandchildren, Dana Scott Telg (Blair), Matthew Scott (Christina), Lance Scott (Kay Lynn) and Taylor Scott Kennedy (Charles); and his great grandchildren, Wright Telg, Ellis Anne Telg, Anna Kate Scott and Aubrey Scott. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
