Preston Carlton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Preston Carlton of James, Texas, who passed away on August 26, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gayle Goss Carlton; his parents, Johnnie James Carlton and Ellen Marie Crawford Carlton; his friend Cedar Park; his sisters, Peggy and Margie Simons; his children, Mylinda Dalrymple and Matthew Carlton; and his grandchildren, Chisholm, Kaitlyn Mings (Stephen), Bryn Rose, Killion Dalrymple, Cassandra, James Benjamin and Jackson Carlton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one of Preston's favorite causes, which included the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and the Cedar Park Library Foundation.
