She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Melvin and Waldine Hodges (Emmons); and her sister Carole Wester. She is survived by: her husband James Carpenter; her children, Katrina Young and Bryan Carpenter; and her siblings, Joe Hodges, Charlotte Kennedy, Brad Hodges, David Hodges and Clyde Hodges. She is also survived by granddaughters; 2 great granddaughters as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
