It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin Jt of James, Texas, born in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Martin and Mary Hodges Martin; his son Col. Van Martin; and his grandson James Rugley Martin. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Oakley Martin; his daughter Lesa Martin Sims (Arthur); his daughter-in-law Catherine Martin (Van); and his children, Becky Martin Knox (Vincent) and James Eric Martin (Sandy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sunset School of Preaching or to World Bible School.
