He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Frank Hays and Rae Christine Neill Hays. He is survived by: his wife Candace Rockenbaugh Hays; his children, Shelia Bledsoe (Frank) and Neil Hays (Anna); his stepsons, Scott Hall and Rusty Hall (Amanda); his grandchildren, Haley Bledsoe, Kayla Tefteller (Andy), Collan Hays, Kendall Hays, Claytan Hays, Audrina Waldum and Brayden Waldum; his great grandchild Lyndon Tefteller; and his sister Charolette Willoughby (Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
