He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Freeman (Martin) and Rev. Elbert Freeman; his son Joshua Ben Freeman; and his siblings, Patricia Parsons and David Sims.
He is survived by: his sons, Kaleb (Maisie Freeman) and Derrick (Corinne Brown); his daughter-in-law Jacqueline Jones of Hudson; his grandchildren, Kason Freeman, Kensie Freeman, Benjamin Brown, Anna Brown and Ayden Jones; his sister Reba; and his brother-in-law James Bennett of Buna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
