She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Benson and Beatrice Benson; her husband James H. Rose; and her siblings, Loretta Powell, Floyd Young and Leroy Benson.
She is survived by: her children, Stella K. Robinson (Jose), Natalie King (U. C. King Jr.), David Rose and Dwayne Rose (Delilah); her siblings, Patricia Benson, Cynthia Johnson, Ernest Benson Jr. and Wayne Benson; and her grandchildren, Keshauna, Dawan, McKinley, Ashley, Jasmine, Raven, Cheyenne, Angel, Mariah and Nito.
