He was predeceased by: his parents, Shorty Lee and Mattie Henson Turner. He is survived by: his siblings, Frankie Lee Turner, Nancy Hill and Joyce Turner; his son Doug (Dolly); his wife Dolly Dennis Turner; his sons, Jamie Turner (Shelley) and Jeb Turner; and his siblings, Alice Durbin and Jerry Turner. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family.
