It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Crawford of James, Texas, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eva Castex and W. H. Hollins; her brother Jimmy Hollins (Amka); her son-in-law Cedric Hunt; her husband James Donald Crawford; her daughters, Chantay Doctor, Cheryl Hunt and Tamina Brazil (Ellis); her grandchildren, Ryan Foster, Lauren Morah (Chukwunweike), Dr. Zachary Hunt, Sydney Hunt, Kevin Butcher, Kendrick Butcher and Kamry Butcher; her siblings, Jean Jones, Carol Sadler (Cicero), Mae Ross and Mark Smalley (Bridget); and her brother-in-law Andre Crawford (Cheryl). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
