It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Thurman (James, Texas), born in Jonesville, Louisiana, who passed away on January 14, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, R. L. Ford and Ruby Mae Ford; her husband James William Thurman; her son William "Chuck" Thurman; and her siblings, Ernest Ford, Les Ford, Quinnon Ford and Alice Ford.
She is survived by: her sister Judy Dillion; her children, Jerry Thurman and Kelly Thurman-Szabo; her daughter-in-law Debbie Thurman; and her grandchildren, Dustin, Christie, Mallory, Kimberly, Amy and Olivia.
