Shelton (James, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on October 9, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvel Shelton and Ruby Shelton; and his wife Brenda K. Silliman Shelton. He is survived by: his daughter Leslie A. Shelton; his grandson Kaylan P. Shelton; and his siblings, Gail Berry and Jesse Shelton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the General Scholarship Fund of San Jacinto College or the University of Houston in Shelton's name.
