It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen E Labarba of James, Texas, born in San Diego, California, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorin Keith Fox and Euleta McAllister Fox; her brother Gary Fox; and her husband James L. LaBarba (LaBarba). She is survived by: her children, Michelle K. Cook (Kevin) and Jason C. LaBarba (Liane); her grandchildren, James S. Cook, Kevin J. Cook, Lauren E. LaBarba and Sarah H. LaBarba; and her pets, Foxey Lady and Luigi. She is also survived by many extended family members, nieces, nephews, very dear friends.
In an effort to keep everyone safe from Covid-19, there will be a private entombment at Sparkman-Hillcrest Mausoleum with immediate family only, officiated by Father Alfonse Nazzaro of All Saints Catholic Church in Dallas.
