He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Fairbanks and Barbara Fairbanks; and his brother Tom Fairbanks. He is survived by: his wife Robin J. Fairbanks; his mother-in-law Marian F. Dorr; his siblings, Richard Fairbanks (Leslie), Teri Amidon (Jeff), Gordon Fairbanks (Beverly) and Brian Fairbanks (Danielle); his siblings-in-law, Jackie Dorr and Bob Dorr (Ida); his son Kenneth C. Fairbanks Jr. (Nena); his nieces, Michelle Dorr (Foy) and Christine Rupertus (Russell); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kenneth C. Fairbanks III, Marinna R. Rivera (Tomas), Mason C. Cammarn, Foy E. Varner IV and Garrett T. Varner. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting monetary donations to assist in expenses.
