He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Cummins and UnaBelle Cummins; his brother Bert Lynn; and his grandson Derrick. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jean Childs; his children, Michael Wayne Cummins (Carol), Stephen Gregg Cummins (Diane) and Wendy Michelle Tynan; his sister Barbara Tolley; his grandchildren, Brian Cummins (Kelley) and Brooke Norton (Brody); his great grandchildren, Paige, Sloane, Harper Wynne Cummins, Brock, Berkley and Blakely Norton; his granddaughter Ellen Brookhart (Brandon); his great grandchild Nora; and his grandson Austin Ballard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (1909 E Rusk St, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
