She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert Hammers and Louise Hammers (Sweet); and her son Robert Wood. She is survived by: her husband Doug Wood of Jacksonville; her daughters, Melissa Byrd (Kris) of Jacksonville and Doranna Rushing (Ryan) of Rusk; her stepsons, Paul Wood of Jacksonville and Christopher Wood (Sandy) of Georgia; her brothers, Bill Hammers, Mike Hammers (Lana) and Jesse Hammers; and her little hyper playmate Lil Bit. She is also survived by her twenty grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
