Sergio Rivera Gomez Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sergio Rivera Gomez of Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Juan Carlos Rivera Gomez and Beatriz Gomez Perez; his brother Carlos Rivera; his grandparents, Sergio Gomez, Maria Teresa Perez, Irene Gomez and Sebastian Rivera; and his godparents, Dominga Vega, Celestino Rivera, Jorge Gomez, Angelica Bocanegra and Aron Vega. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1023 Corinth Rd, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Larissa Cemetery.
