He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Traylor and Ella Traylor; his siblings, Bobby Traylor, Jimmy Traylor, Billy Traylor, Kay Moore and Ann Kimbrell; his son-in-law Bill Terry Jr.; and his brother-in-law Vernon Kimbrell.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Traylor; his children, Darlene Terry, Barbara Wallace (Darrell), Royce Traylor (Anna) and Timothy Traylor; his brothers, Joe Traylor (Dixie), Jack Traylor (Mary Lou) and Jerry Traylor (Susan); his siblings-in-law, Carol Traylor and David Moore; and his grandchildren, David Justin, Courtney Cannon, Chad, Jennifer Cannon, Nick, Adair Terry, Ben, Lindsey Terry, Lindsey Robertson (Traylor) and Adam Traylor. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
