He was predeceased by: his parents, Macedonio Duran and Elena Duran (Rivera); and his brothers, Adolfo and Daniel Duran. He is survived by: his wife Lucila Duran; his children, Macedonio Duran of Rusk, Armando Duran (Billie) of Whitehouse, Roberto Duran Jr. (Lupe) of Jacksonville, Manuel Duran (Sonia Patino) of Jacksonville, Martha Duran of Jacksonville and David Duran (Windy) of Jacksonville; and his sisters, Rosa Duran of Jacksonville and Maria Ortiz (Indalecio) of Jacksonville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1023 Corinth Rd, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home (1025 SE Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1023 Corinth Rd, Jacksonville, TX 75766).
