It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allan James of Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Richard find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Carlyle Jr. and Virginia James (Miller). He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. James (Haws) of Jacksonville; his daughters, Veronica Howitt (Scott) of Plano, Jennifer Graham (John) of Shreveport and Nicole Clark of Tyler; his sister Stephanie Preece (Bob) of Dallas; and his nieces, Cheri Walker and Lauren Griffin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
