With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Refugio Rodriguez of Jacksonville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Rodriguez and Brigida Garcia Rodriguez; his son Miguel Angel Rodriguez; his siblings, Rosa Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez and Jose Rodriguez; his wife Maria O. Rodriguez; and his children, Margarita Rodriguez of Jacksonville, Raul Rodriguez (Cristina) of Jacksonville, Maria Galvan (Jaime) of Jacksonville and Victoria Rodriguez (Adrian) of Jacksonville.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pedro Rodriguez (Yolanda) of Jacksonville, Juan Garcia of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Maria of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Carmen Rodriguez (Luis) of Piedras Negras, Coahuila and Guadalupe Rodriguez (Manuel) of Piedras Negras, Coahuila. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1023 Corinth Rd, Jacksonville, TX 75766).
