It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Massey of Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Massey and Angie Lela Massey (Duke); his wife Lela Mae Massey; his children, Olen Massey, Joyce Massey, Doris Massey and Linda Snipes; and his siblings, Bob Massey, Ed Massey, Evelyn Hays and Louise Moore.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Kenneth Snipes; his brother Joe Massey (Sandra); his grandchildren, Jason Snipes (Kristy) and Chadwin Snipes; his great grandchild Amber Huff (Joshua); and his great great grandchild Nathaniel Huff. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
