It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Shamblin of Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Everett Clark and Susie Clark (Ross); her husband Travis Shamblin; and her daughter Marilyn Shamblin Harris. She is survived by: her son Roy Shamblin (Helen); and her sister Martha Gray of Sulphur Springs. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
