He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Ike and Pearlie Shirey; and his brothers, Edward Shirey and Earl Shirey. He is survived by: his children, Earnest Shirey, Michael Shirey (Tonja) of Frankston and Tonya Raulston (Brian) of Kansas; and his brother Gerald Shirey (Judy) of Buda. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
