He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Harold Sr. and Sylvia Acker (Booth); and his brother Willie Harold Acker Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kristin Sanders Acker; his pet Lucy; his sister-in-law Penny Pratt Acker; his nieces and nephews, Laura Acker Jones, Trai Wooddell (Keith), April Sylvia Acker, Scout Faye Johnson, Ruth Ellen Johnson, John Leland Acker and Willie Harold Acker III; his mother-in-law Jennifer Hearne Rickel; and his sister-in-law Stephanie Johnson (Ryan).
Rather than customary condolences, memorials may be made to the Jacksonville Police Association or the Crisis Center of Anderson and Cherokee Counties.
