It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewie David Goodson of Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Goodson and Vera Goodson; his former wife Sharon Goodson; his siblings, James Goodson, Mina Davis and Frankie Hale; and his granddaughter Marah Shea Goodson.
He is survived by: his wife Laquita Goodson of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Kaelin Goodson, Jordon Goodson, Bryson Goodson, Ragan Goodson, Josie Goodson and Sam Goodson; his great grandchildren, Gracie Faye, Madelynn, William and Noah; and his close friends, James Foster, Ron Decker, Dale Smith, Kenneth Ward and Pete Sessions. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
