She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Cox and Zora Belle Cox (Gray); her husband Larry D. Underwood; her parents-in-law, Odelle and Grady Underwood; her siblings, Jane (Doug Cox), Betty (James Herring), Jerry Don Cox and Robert Cox; her nieces, Jackie Gage, Debbie McClain and Donica Bolton; her nephew Eddie Herring; her brother Nolan; and her sisters-in-law, Juaneice Smith and Lynette Wright.
She is survived by: her son Byron Underwood (Terri); her grandsons, Grady Underwood (Chelsea), Justin Underwood (Jennifer) and Jared Underwood (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Cody, Kyle, Gunner Underwood, Kayla, Dylin and Kara Underwood; her brothers, Andy Cox (Sondra) and Gary Cox (Debra); her close friends, Jim and Dedi Kyle; and her nephews, Doug Cox, David Cox, Timmy Herring, Donny Cox, Bob Cox, Chris Cox and Gary Cox Jr..
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
