He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Gibson and Jaunita Gibson (Williams); and his mother-in-law Jane Alexander Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Gibson; his sons, Christopher Ray Gibson (Tera) of Abilene, Michael James Gibson (Jenee) of Lubbock, Bradley Stephen Gibson of Pflugerville and Jack Weston Gibson of Flint; his sister Donna Sosby (Barry) of Jacksonville; his sister-in-law Cindy Rhodes of Abilene; and his grandchildren, Landry and Henley Gibson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Earle's Chapel Methodist Church (499 Co Rd 3221, Jacksonville, TX 75766).
