We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2025, at the age of 85, Irby Ray of Jacksonville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Irby Ray Sr. and Minnie Leotis Slider Ray; and his wife Jo Ann Saylors Ray. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Ray, Scott Ray and Tracy Ray (Christie); his grandchildren, Stephen Tyler Ray (Kristen), Jordan Guidry (Andy), Tanner Ray, Peyton Ray and MacKenzie Ray; his great grandchildren, Braydon and Braxton Guidry; his siblings, Billy Wayne Hammonds Sr. (Shirley) and Judy Davis (James); his nieces and nephews, Tammy Lott (Carl), Kim Schultz (Randy), Billy Wayne Hammonds Jr. (Juli) and Jerry Gibson; and his caregivers, Rachel and Laura. He is also survived by other numerous great-nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
