It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Ann Cook Stadler of Jacksonville, Texas, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Doris Ann Cook farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Doris Ann Cook is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey Franklin Cook and Myrtle Worley Cook; her husband James Robert Stadler; her great-niece Virginia Cook; and her brothers, George Franklin Cook (Frances) and Jeter Worley Cook.
She is survived by: her sister Donnie Yeilding. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery (900 N Pineda St, Jacksonville, TX 75766).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of one's choice.
