She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edward and Margaret Everett Wade; her husband Edward Blackstone; and her son Vincent Bates. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Fackenthall (Byron) of Mabank, Dana Williams (Jim) of Jacksonville and Josie Bates of Grapevine; and her grandchildren, Tarl Bates (Jenna), Sami Bates, Juliette Dees, Dena Alsup (Ray), Marla Caballero (Tony) and Marissa Williams. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
