Denise Shelton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denise Shelton (Jacksonville, Texas), who passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Stewart and Marty Stewart; her son John Pilette; and her sisters, Amy Gene and Lisa Ann.

She is survived by: her husband Dr. Billy Shelton of Jacksonville; her children, Jeffrey Pilette (Meghan) of Bullard, Wayne Shelton (Amy) of Belgrade, Montana, Zoe Postert of Jacksonville and Kyla Postert of Jacksonville; her siblings, D. Michael Stewart (Joni) of Oklahoma City and Beth Dukes of League City; and her grandchildren, Brayden Pilette, Brennan Pilette and Caelyn Pilette. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
