With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Demrie B. Green of Jacksonville, Texas, born in Beeville, Texas, who passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Othmar Miller and Lena Green (Gregory); his wife Carolyn Ryherd Green; his son Daniel Dehaven Green; his daughter-in-law Shalee Green; his great grandchild Madilyn Ramsey; his children, Rebecca Lynette Burns (Leonard) of Jacksonville, Damon Green (Paula) of Lumberton, TX, Regina Moore (Jamie) of Jacksonville, Charles Bryant Green of Plano and Denise Skoruppa (Keith) of Robstown; and his sisters, Joyce Blackmon of Bossier City, LA and Zepha Lou Doris (Allen) of Conroe.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jaclynn Ramsey, Brandon Ramsey, Victoria Green, Blaine Green, Mason Green, Dylan Green, Jordan Armstrong, Austin Mason, Brantley Mason and Ali McClendon; his great grandchildren, Kamdin Ramsey and Evelyn Ramsey; and his stepgrandchildren, Carson Burns, Michael Lavender, Matthew Lavender, Justin Moore and Josh Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
