She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roper and Ora Pearl Roper (Fincher); her husband James M. Roper; and her siblings, Barbara Horn and John Carnes.
She is survived by: her sons, James Roper, Jewels Cammilleri of Austin and John Roper of Lancaster; her brothers-in-law, Clarence Roper of Bullard, Richard Roper of Tyler and David Roper of Louisiana; her grandchildren, Joshua Roper, Caleb Roper, Rachel Taylor (Zack) and J. D. Roper; and her great grandchildren, Remy, Raven, Hanna and Cain. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
