She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston E. Claiborne and Minnie A. Claiborne (Sanford); her husband Nolan Slider of Pierce's Chapel; her siblings, Clennon Claiborne, Gerald Claiborne, Waymon Claiborne, Madeline Mines and Evelyn Norrod; her nephew Jeffrey Seeton; and her niece Patricia Lynn Kinney.
She is survived by: her sisters, Janell Seeton (Jerry) of Jacksonville and Nelda Gray (Spencer) of Athens; and her sisters-in-law, Daphine Claiborne and Dianna Lambert. She is also survived by other loving extended family, close friends, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pierce's Chapel Cemetery (7210 FM 747, Jacksonville, TX 75766).
