In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Bertha Mae leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Bertha Mae may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wesley and Rosa Bertha Wyatt (Reed); her husband Edward Junior Jones; and her brothers, A. J. Wyatt, C. W. Wyatt and James Wyatt.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Helms, James E. Jones (Eva), Billy Jones, Jerry Jones and Craig Jones (Marie). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry Funeral Home - Jacksonville (1025 E Loop 456, Jacksonville, TX 75766). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
