He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Marvin and Veda Fincher (Mc Bee); and his siblings, Marvin Lit Fincher, Melford Bland Fincher, Mildred Pauline Callaway, Doris Leona Giffin, Sam Vera Fincher, Gladys Irene Robertson, Robert Lane Fincher and Edward Earl Fincher.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Fincher; his daughter Tina Fincher of Galveston; his sister Geraldine Foster (Jeri) of Deer Park; and his close friend Janet Mathews. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews.
