She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Allen and Alma Allen (Boyles); her husband Marcus Hanks; and her siblings, Alfred "Monk", Earl, Lucius, Wesley, Bennie, Murl, Junior, Calvin, Charlie Allen, Virginia Allen and Jessie Marie Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Renee Jones (James) of Jacksonville, Kimberly Page Gardner (Roy Don) of Jacksonville, Rhonda Kay Briggs (Carl) of Jacksonville and Mark Allen Hanks (Becky) of Jacksonville; her sister Ava Ray of Jacksonville; and her siblings-in-law, Shiela Allen of Jacksonville and Hillman Hanks (Judy) of Jasper. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
