He was predeceased by: his father Patrick Hartnett. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Margaret Schlachter of Jacksonville; and his children, Suzanne Swanson (Breck) of Colorado Springs, CO, Karen Bledsoe (Thomas) of Jacksonville and Andrew Schlachter (Elizabeth) of Colorado Springs, CO.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
