He was predeceased by: his son Perry Applewhite. He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Braden; his daughter-in-law Peggy Applewhite; and his grandchildren, Angela Redder, LeWayne Branden, Jake Applewhite, Justin Braden, John Sparks, Misty Sparks, Joe Sparks, Jennifer Sparks, Aaron Sparks and Tisha Hulsey. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
