Lois J. Paschal Obituary

Lois June (Ramsey) Paschal passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at her home in Jacksboro, Texas. She was 90 years old. Lois was born on November 9, 1933, in Snyder, Oklahoma to William and Fanny (Emmons) Ramsey.

A memorial service to celebrate Lois's life will be held at a later date.

Lois married Samuel Dennis Paschal on December 28, 1973. Together, they made their home in Jacksboro, Texas. Lois earned a Master's Degree in history and loved sharing her knowledge with many beloved students over the years. She was an extraordinary person and teacher. Lois was a member of the Jacksboro Parish and enjoyed being able to serve her community through the Concerned Citizen's Meals on Wheels program and volunteering at the Food Pantry. She was also a journalist for the local paper, Wichita Falls Times And Record News, and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Paschal; sons, John Enright and Arthur Enright; and brothers, Bill Ramsey and Daniel Ramsey.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Laura Lois Enright-Bilberry, and her husband Ray; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
