He is survived by: his son Tim Mathis (Patricia); his granddaughters, Kalyn Qualls (Michael) of Jacksboro and Kassie Davis (Blake) of Bellevue, Texas; his great grandchildren, Carter, Emma, Kameron and Blake; and his sister-in-law Joan Mathis.
