She was predeceased by: her parents, Shell Burt and Sarah E. Haning Burt (Sadie); her husband Chunk Horton; and her brothers, Marvin Burt and Bill Burt.
She is survived by: her former husband George L. Horton (Chunk); her sons, Harold Horton (Tanya), Dudley Horton (Carla Beth) and Greg Horton (Melissa); her grandchildren, Ellissa Horton Burr, Derek Horton (Sara), Heath Horton and Mandi Horton; her great grandchildren, Cy Horton, Lyrik Horton, Channing Burr, Brooks Burr, Russell Horton and Kendall Horton; and her sister Oleta Burt Thompson (Dump).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (406 N Main St, Jacksboro, TX 76458). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
