He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Hiram Parsons and Mary Lou Parsons (Webb); his wife Glynns Lucille Parsons (Livesay); his son Gerald Loyd Parsons; and his siblings, Helen Howell, Quinton Parsons, Juanita Morris, Leroy Parsons, Bernice Riggs and Vernon Parsons.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Ross (David), Connie Parsons, Gregg Parsons (Sharon) and Mike Parsons (Teresa); his grandchildren, Brian Ross, Shannon Avery, Tiffany Martin, Joshua Ross, Toni Marchand and Jamie Skelton; and his great grandchildren, Shelby, Glynns, Nick, Nicole, Douglas, Lainey, Sean, Jessica, Kyle, Christopher, Bobbie and Charlie.
