She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lassater and Mollie Lassater (Starnes); and her daughter Gail Pender. She is survived by: her husband Jackie Thompson of Ivanhoe, TX; her daughters, Vivian Massey (David) of Ivanhoe, TX, Melinda Parker (Steve) of Ivanhoe, TX and June Thompson of Ivanhoe, TX; her grandchildren, Randall Massey, Jessica Spindle (Brodie), Amy Beaulieu (James), Dakota, Cameron Parker, Haley and Heather Thompson; her great grandchildren, Rowdy Spindle, Elizabeth Massey, Kallie Spindle, Skye Pender and Emily Massey; her son-in-law Charles Pender; and her siblings, Lois Ball, Maggie Barnes (Junior), Margaret Whitaker and Johnny Lassater (Audrey). She is also survived by 3 step children and numerous nieces and nephews.
